Whatever happened to geese flying south for the winter?

So a couple of weeks ago I came home for dinner and on my way back to school I stepped outside to find a very large goose at the bottom of the stairs, I know what your thinking...how cool to have geese right outside your door. This goose is not cool. I tried to walk past it and it began to slowly creep up behind me, i decided that I had better pick up the pace because this goose was getting uncomfortably close. Well as I increased my pace the goose increased theirs as well until it flew over my head and landed in front of me! As it stood there staring at me I wasn't quite sure what to do so I ran past it and jumped in my car, it followed me to my car and stood at the front of the car staring at me. This ridiculous goose followed me as I backed up and drove away. I was so paranoid that this goose was going to continue to stalk me, ready to attack at any moment that for a week I carried around a can of air freshener ( it was the only thing I had that would spray far enough) everytime I left the apartment. Thank goodness I haven't seen it lately and I can feel free to stroll to my car at leisure instead of running there with my finger on the trigger of air freshener like a crazy person.

December...

So apparently blogging is not my forte. I have not been very diligent at updating what has been happening in my life. I love Christmas and all of the magic that goes with the holiday. I eagerly awaited the day that I could put up the first of the decorations, which was probably sooner than most people care to see them. I did wait until the day after Thanksgiving to put up the tree and the wreath on the door.
I attended my work Christmas party which was so much fun and I am so grateful for a job that I love.

I spent the rest of the holidays baking and enjoying the cheerful Christmas music played all day.
Christmas eve was spent with my good friend Rachael's family where we had a good meal, read the Christmas story, sang songs, and enjoyed one another's company. After the girls went to bed we busied ourselves with "Santa's" duties.
Christmas day was pretty quiet, I got to sleep in and have eggs benedict for breakfast which is my favorite breakfast food ever! Later I went to Katrina's Mom's house for her big dinner and festivities.
Sorry I don't have anymore pictures of these events. Maybe my new years resolution should be to take more pictures.
